Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a state of full presence, here and now, when we pay attention to what is happening around us, but also within ourselves. It is not only a state but also a trainable human competence, usable not only in work but also in personal life. Why is it worth practicing your mindfulness? According to current scientific research, standardised Mindfulness training is the most effective intervention for promoting mental well-being, increasing satisfaction and reducing stress and anxiety. Other benefits include improved quality of experience, better concentration, coping with challenging situations and the ability to work with our energy to prevent burnout. Cultivating your own mindfulness also brings the inspiration for improving your relationship not only with yourself but also with others.

You can experience mindfulness training with QED GROUP in the form of an 8-week MBCT-L (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Life) course. We work with the methodology from the Oxford Mindfulness Center (a research and practice-oriented workplace at Oxford University) and all our Mindfulness lecturers have completed a 2-year training in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy from OMC under the guidance of Ruth Baer.
